Sit and Spin

One of the last things I did before leaving NYC was buy a standing mixer off of Amazon because at that precise moment it had been heavily discounted. But I had sent to my parents' in MI because I didn't have enough space for it and it seemed silly to have a 30 lb machine for just 2 months before moving it.

I hadn't had time to use it until last night and now I'm kicking myself for not breaking it out sooner - it really makes everything so much easier and the dough came significantly better than it would with a hand mixer. Best impulse buy ever.
