Escape to MA


The ICA. I had to see this exhibit.

The weather was very SF/London.



And it rained most of the day (Friday).

Luckily, it did not look like this on the day of the wedding itself.

SF MoMA: Artwork

I went to SF MoMA on Sunday as it was the last day of the William Kentridge exhibit, which I liked a lot. I'm a big fan of NY MoMA (used to be a member when I lived in NYC) but I actually think SF MoMA is better, in some ways - it's smarter, picks better pieces to exhibit in the standing collection, and has a lot more interesting work by younger artists. The building, too, is more successful than NY MoMA. Of course, it doesn't have The Persistence of Memory or Les demoiselles d'Avignon, but it still has great stuff.
